How can we store electricity in times of high energy prices? A start-up called “STABL Energy” has set its sights on increasing the use of renewable energy sources with the help of energy storage systems and setting a new standard for battery storage. Its CEO and co-founder, TUM alumnus Dr. Nam Truong, outlines his model for sustainable energy use.

A university cannot operate smoothly without a specialist legal department. In this episode, we introduce another TUM staff member and Hidden Champion: Daniela Seidl works in the university’s Legal Office, where she is responsible for research cooperations. For the last five years, she has worked with her colleagues to negotiate contracts and issue advice.

How is AI changing research and teaching at universities? Dr. Andreas Fleischmann heads up the central academic facility ProLehre, Media and Didactics. He discusses his initial experiences of working with ChatGPT and whether it will have a lasting impact on academia.
