| Description: | Granted to an academically deserving student entering the second, third, or fourth year of study in a major program in the School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences who is in greatest financial need and not in receipt of another major donor funded award or scholarship. Preference will be given to a student who identifies as a woman. |
| Background: | In June 2017, TD Bank Group pledged $350,000 to UPEI's School of Mathematical and Computational Sciences (SMCS). Previous discussions between TD Bank Group and UPEI led to general agreement that the monies would be targeted towards: student scholarships and awards, student experiential learning opportunities, and SMCS in promotions and outreach initiatives. |
