The Senior Scholar Award was established in 2010 by the University of Auckland Council.
The main purpose of the Awards is to recognise the graduating students who obtained the highest marks in their undergraduate programme. Each Faculty will be allocated a number of Awards based on the number of students who have met the requirements to be eligible to graduate.
