The Award was established in 2010 and is funded by a bequest from Professor Robert Solomon.
The main purpose of the Award is to provide support for a high achieving student Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Philosophy graduate who has subsequently enrolled in further postgraduate study in Philosophy at the University of Auckland.
