The Prize was established in 2017 to mark the retirement of Associate Professor Judy Kilpatrick, foundation Head of School, in recognition of her contribution to nursing education and research, and is funded by the School of Nursing.
The main purpose of the Prize is to recognise and reward research excellence in a Master of Nursing thesis or research portfolio or a Master of Health Sciences thesis or research portfolio in the School of Nursing in the Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at Waipapa Taumata Rau University of Auckland.
