Edinburgh Napier has partnered with the British Council to offer a scholarship for a Masters students from Kenya.

About the scholarship

We have a partial scholarship of £10,000 available for one self-funding student domiciled in Kenya, starting a masters course at Edinburgh Napier in September 2023.

This scholarship scheme is part of the GREAT Scholarships campaign, which has been launched by the British Council together with 36 UK universities to support more students to access excellent UK higher education opportunities.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, you must be:

  • domiciled in Kenya at the time of application
  • self-funding your course
  • meet the entry criteria for your masters course in September 2023
  • You are not eligible if:

  • you are applying for a course lasting longer than 12 months
  • you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship

    Applications will open for this scholarship in the week beginning 24th October 2022. Please check back after this time for further updates on how to apply.

    The deadline for applications will be 5pm on Friday the 26th of May 2023.

    Selection process

    All applications will be reviewed after the application deadline on the 26th of May 2023. Please note, you will not receive a response regarding your application until after this date.

    We aim to respond to all applicants on or before the 16th June 2023 to confirm if they have been successful. If you have not had a response after this date, please get in touch.

    Details for your visa

    The scholarship amount will be shown on the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) email that we issue for your visa application.
