Genea Scholarship
Achieving Potential Scholarship for Distinction
The Genea Scholarship is generously supported by Liverpool Partners and
introduced to provide encouragement and support to Bachelor of Biomedical
Science students within the Monash Biomedicine Discovery Institute (BDI) at
Monash University.
Am I eligible?
You must be one of the following:
An Australian citizen
A New Zealand citizen
Australian permanent resident
Australian humanitarian visa holder
You must meet the following criteria:
Commencing or continuing student enrolled or intending to enrol in the
Bachelor of Biomedical Science degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing
and Health Sciences at a Monash campus in Australia.
Commencing students must achieve an ATAR score of 90+ (80+ for Indigenous
students)
Continuing students must achieve a 70+ WAM
Have a low income.
Benefits
$6000 per 48 credit points for the duration of the degree.
Number offered
Four scholarships available at any one time.
Selection criteria
Awarded on academic achievement and need.
Consideration is given if, in addition to being a low income earner, you
experience other forms of educational disadvantage.
To retain this scholarship:
You must maintain a Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 60 each semester.

through VTAC.
For current Monash students, apply directly to Monash
This scholarship cannot be deferred.
