The Scholarship was established in 1997 as the result of a bequest to the University from the late Miss B Denise Gerard. Miss Gerard’s stated purpose in establishing the Scholarship was to assist students at the Elam School of Fine Arts who show industry, promise of artistic ability, and who are in need of financial assistance.
