UToronto has 44 libraries along with 158 librarians. The University of Toronto library system has more than 19.5 million physical holdings and more than 6.2 million electronic holdings. UToronto library system is the third-largest in North America.

According to the fall 2018 statistics published by the university, UToronto has over 14,648 faculty members assigned as active faculty members with teaching/research responsibilities and 5,75,924 alumni around the world.
